Ezekiel 13:9-18; John 6:52-69
The problem with some Christians and their dealings with false prophets is that, they do not have an idea of the truth in God’s word, of which they can use to determine if a prophet is false or true. Some have been brainwashed by these false prophets, who tell them things that they want to hear. The fact is that, you cannot know if someone is lying, if you do not have an idea of what the truth is. Also, it is easy to believe a lie, especially when the truth sounds confusing, or is not appealing to us.
Do not fall into the traps of false prophets! And if you have already been entrapped, it is time to be set free. Freedom comes when the truth is known or revealed. The truth can be found in Jesus alone. He is the way the truth and the life (John 14:6). And in John 8:32, the Bible says: “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” So stop listening to false prophets! Don’t allow them to destroy your life and family .
Let us make use of the Word of God. Let us open our Bible, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help us understand. We should read or ask someone to read for us. The word that God has given us, they are spirit and life. Human efforts and false prophets will accomplish nothing. Instead, they will lead us to destruction.
We should all stop reading the Bible only to get how we can be healthy, wealthy, and how we can take revenge on our enemies. We should read and study the Bible in order to have a relationship with God; to be one with Him. That is what it means by eating His body and drinking His blood. We should do this so that when others are running away from God to false prophets, we will remain with Him because He has the word of life.
I pray that God will continue to give us understanding by the Holy Spirit, and free us from every shackle of false prophets, and also make us one with him. In Jesus name. Amen. God bless you.
