Proverbs 9:1-10; Ephesians 5:15-20
Have you ever seen a foolish person before? How do they look like? Sometimes, we see the reflection of a foolish person when will look in the mirror. This means that sometimes we act foolishly: We allow our senses to control us; We insults people who tenderly, lovingly, and truthfully corrects us; We get filled with wine instead of the Holy Spirit; we refuse to make good use of every opportunity in this evil days, and we neglect communing with Jesus, who is the Wisdom of God.

God wants us to be wise. Foolishness will ruin us, but Wisdom will save us. God wants us to make good use of every opportunity to serve him because the days are evil. He wants us to be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among ourselves, and making music to the Lord in our hearts. God wants us to be wise, that was why He gave us His only begotten Son to come and die for our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness and foolishness
We can truly be wise if we have Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour, and believe in his finished work for our Salvation on the cross. No matter the books we read or the degrees we acquire in this world, it will amount to foolishness without God. Remember the Bible says: “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy one is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:10).

I pray that God will continue to help us, and enable us to constantly be willing and able to do His good pleasure. May His word continually bear fruit in us, so that when we take a look in the mirror, we will see the reflection of a wise person. In Jesus name. Amen. God bless you .
